RULES
- Rosters should be mailed in prior or turned in at start of tournament
- Coaches should supply labels or write in roster at beginning
of each game
- USA Rules for all teams except U16 / U19
- U16 / U19 Federation ( MIAA high school ) rules
- Three 12 minute periods. (overtime only during playoffs)
- Minor Penalty 1:30
- Major Penalty 4:00
- Misconduct 6:00
- Four Penalties in a game / Game Misconduct
TIEBREAKER TO GET TO CHAMPIONSHIP
GAMES
If two teams are tied with equal points to determine the winner
will go as follows:
- Head to Head
- Goals Against
- Goals For
- PIM’s
Championship Games
- Games will consist of (3) 15 minute stop time periods
- Overtime: Will only take place in the Finals.
A five (5) minute overtime period will be played immediately following
any ties. If after the five (5) minutes the game remains in a
tie a shoot-out will determine the Winner.
- Shootouts: Each team shall select a goalie
and five players. The visiting team shall go first, followed by
the home team, and continue to alternate until all ten players
have attempted to score. The team with the most goals shall be
the winner. If a tie should result after all ten selected players
have attempted, then each team will continue to select a new team
from the roster and continue to alternate attempts until one team
scores unanswered. If every player from on the team has attempted
and no winner is determined, players may go a second time. If
a goalie is injured during the shootout, a replacement goalie
may be selected, but must remain for the duration of the shootout.
